1. Stop AAPI Hate
Stop AAPI Hate is an organization devoted to combating discrimination and violence towards the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities. Not only do they provide reports on the context behind Asian and/or Pacific Islander hate crimes, but they also have a place where individuals can report incidents they have witnessed. Stop AAPI Hate offers many other resources that may be useful to you or someone else you know, so the link to their website has been provided below:
2. Asian Americans Advancing Justice
In addition to having blogs and a newsletter (like The Voices of the Unheard), the AAAJ offers educational programs/training to help you and other people understand the impact of anti-Asian prejudice. See the link below to view their programs:
If you or someone you know is currently residing in Atlanta, the AAAJ-Atlanta organization is the place to go if you want to find out what you can do to support Asian American communities. You can sign up to volunteer and find other resources that may be useful to you.
3. Asian American Resource Center
The Asian American Resource Center offers programs that aid immigrant and homeless families. They are also in need of volunteer translators and are welcoming donations so please check their website below.
The three organizations listed above are not the only organizations that are speaking out against anti-Asian behaviors in the United States. A quick internet search can show you all the events and groups around you that need your help. Remember that activism is not a trend and you can never be too late to join the fight. Your contribution matters; anything and everything counts!
